Garden Morning is a large centerpiece tray, featuring layers of detailed etching to illustrate the beginning of day in a lush garden. The wind is softly blowing, birds are moving about and the dragonflies are swirling.
The piece can sit on your table or be displayed on a shelf until ready for use. It's food-safe art you can use!
Detailed etching covers the entire top of the piece with subtle washes of yellow and orange on the flowers and blue/green on the leaves, plus pops of orange color. The sides feature a black matte glaze and the bottom is unglazed and sanded smooth.
Perfect for display and also food-safe.
The imagery was created in my woodcut-style design, using traditional sgraffito (etching) techniques in a contemporary way.
