  • Studio Notes – July 2025: Summer Workshop at Idyllwild Arts

    I recently attended the annual Hot Clay program at Idyllwild Arts, nestled in Southern California's San Jacinto Mountains. This year I participated in a week-long workshop with Christy Knox of Natural Elements Pottery, who taught us her masterful techniques for using plants to create embossing plates. The experience deepened my ceramic skills and connected me with fellow clay artists in a stunning natural setting surrounded by national forest.
