Cozy up with this bunny, all dressed in blues and greens. While the rabbit is the main attraction, this mug also was etched with swirling leaves moving along a checked background and a border of of leaves in black/blue.
The mug was handmade and hand-etched using traditional sgraffito (etching) techniques in a contemporary way to create pattern and movement.
After etching, the imagery was covered with a clear gloss. The remainder of the mug and interior has a celadon glaze that gives a pleasing contrast to the imagery.
