This piece is part of the Wall Tile Collection inspired by my year-long residency on the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve, one of the last unspoiled public open spaces along the California coast.
ABOUT: This round convex handmade tile features a thistle animated by dots of glossy green and etched patterns of black/white. It is curves outward slightly from the wall.
The piece is multi-fired with underglazes and glazes to achieve various colors and textures.
It is ready to hang inside or out.
