This stoneware platter features four squirrels, paired up on two sides of the piece. Each squirrel is holding out an acorn to the other. The piece has been layered with underglaze and etched by hand with imagery and pattern in sgraffito caring technique that resembles a woodcut. After the initial firing, the piece was covered with a clear glaze and final fired. It is food safe.
